Ruling on aborting a pregnancy in the early stages

What is the ruling on aborting a pregnancy in the early months (1-3) before the soul is breathed into the foetus?.

Praise be to Allaah.

The Council of Senior Scholars issued the following statement:

1 – It is not permissible to abort a pregnancy at any stage unless there
is a legitimate reason, and within very precise limits.

2 – If the pregnancy is in the first stage, which is a period of forty
days, and aborting it serves a legitimate purpose or will ward off harm, then it is permissible to abort it. But aborting it at this stage for
fear of the difficulty of raising children or of being unable to bear the costs of maintaining and educating them, or for fear for their future or
because the couple feel that they have enough children – this is not permissible.

3 – It is not permissible to abort a pregnancy when it is an ‘alaqah
(clot) or mudghah (chewed lump of flesh) (which are the second and third periods of forty days each) until a trustworthy medical committee has
decided that continuing the pregnancy poses a threat to the mother’s wellbeing, in that there is the fear that she will die if the pregnancy
continues. It is permissible to abort it once all means of warding off that danger have been exhausted.

4 – After the third stage, and after four months have passed, it is not
permissible to abort the pregnancy unless a group of trustworthy medical specialists decide that keeping the foetus in his mother’s womb will
cause her death, and that should only be done after all means of keeping the foetus alive have been exhausted. A concession is made allowing
abortion in this case so as to ward off the greater of two evils and to serve the greater of two interests.

He killed a man then he committed suicide. Do the kin of his victim have any financial rights?

One person killed another, then he killed himself. Do the kin of the victim have any financial rights over the kin of the killer who then committed suicide?

Praise be to Allaah.

We put this question to Shaykh Muhammad ibn
Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen, may Allaah preserve him, who answered as follows:

The kin of the victim have the right to diyah
(blood money) from the wealth of the killer if he left any wealth. If
he did not leave any wealth then they have no rights over the clan of
the killer.

Quran - Word of God?, From whom Muhammad got his revelations:

Is Quran the Word
of God? Part 5

From whom Muhammad got his revelations?

Last week we saw that Holy Spirit is none other than
the Spirit of the almighty God and Muhammad and Angel Gabriel cannot be
the Holy Spirit. Today we are going to see whether Quran is the word of
God or not?

Bible tells us that all the prophets were filled with the
Holy Spirit and they got revelation from God. But Hadith tells us that
Muhammad was bewitched and had been affected by magic or powerful spell.

1. From whom Muhammad got his revelations:

Volume 4, Book 54, Number 490:

Narrated 'Aisha:

Magic was worked on the Prophet so that he began to fancy that he was
doing a thing which he was not actually doing. One day he invoked (Allah)
for a long period and then said, "I feel that Allah has inspired
me as how to cure myself. Two persons came to me (in my dream) and sat,
one by my head and the other by my feet. One of them asked the other,
"What is the ailment of this man?" The other replied, 'He has
been bewitched" The first asked, 'Who has bewitched him?' The other
replied, 'Lubaid bin Al-A'sam.' The first one asked, 'What material has
he used?' The other replied, 'A comb, the hair gathered on it, and the
outer skin of the pollen of the male date-palm.' The first asked, 'Where
is that?' The other replied, 'It is in the well of Dharwan.' " So,
the Prophet went out towards the well and then returned and said to me
on his return, "Its date-palms (the date-palms near the well) are
like the heads of the devils." I asked, "Did you take out those
things with which the magic was worked?" He said, "No, for I
have been cured by Allah and I am afraid that this action may spread evil
amongst the people." Later on the well was filled up with earth.

We read the same thing in Volume 8,
Book 75, Number 400 where Aisha Muhammad's wife says that Allah's Apostle
was affected by magic, so much that he used to think that he had done
something which in fact. She also said Allah's Apostle was bewitched...
(See Hadith No. 658, Vol. 7)

Hadith also tells us that Muhammad every night prayed a
prayer that his devil should be driven away from him in

Book 41, Number 5036:

Narrated AbulAzhar al-Anmari:

When the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) went to his bed at night,
he would say: in the name of Allah, I have laid down my side for Allah.
O Allah! forgive me my sin, drive away my devil, free me from my responsibility,
and place me in the highest assembly.

When Muhammad started getting revelations he became suicidal
and thought to kill himself. A great fear came in his heart and he was
not even sure what he was getting and from whom?

Hadith tells us in Volume 9, Book
87, Number 111: Narrated 'Aisha:

The commencement of the Divine Inspiration to Allah's Apostle was in the
form of good righteous (true) dreams in his sleep. He never had a dream
but that it came true like bright day light. He used to go in seclusion
(the cave of) Hira where he used to worship(Allah Alone) continuously
for many (days) nights. He used to take with him the journey food for
that (stay) and then come back to (his wife) Khadija to take his food
like-wise again for another period to stay, till suddenly the Truth descended
upon him while he was in the cave of Hira. The angel came to him in it
and asked him to read. The Prophet replied, "I do not know how to
read." (The Prophet added), "The angel caught me (forcefully)
and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it anymore. He then released
me and again asked me to read, and I replied, "I do not know how
to read," whereupon he caught me again and pressed me a second time
till I could not bear it anymore. He then released me and asked me again
to read, but again I replied, "I do not know how to read (or, what
shall I read?)." Thereupon he caught me for the third time and pressed
me and then released me and said, "Read: In the Name of your Lord,
Who has created (all that exists). Has created man from a clot. Read and
Your Lord is Most Generous...up to..... ..that which he knew not."
(96.15)

Then Allah's Apostle returned with
the Inspiration, his neck muscles twitching with terror till he entered
upon Khadija and said, "Cover me! Cover me!" They covered him
till his fear was over and then he said, "O Khadija, what is wrong
with me?" Then he told her everything that had happened and said,
'I fear that something may happen to me." Khadija said, 'Never! But
have the glad tidings, for by Allah, Allah will never disgrace you as
you keep good reactions with your Kith and kin, speak the truth, help
the poor and the destitute, serve your guest generously and assist the
deserving, calamity-afflicted ones."

Further we read that Khadija accompanied him to her cousin
Waraqa and Muhammad told his story to him. Waraqa told him that it is
from angel Gabriel who keeps the secret. You can see that Muhammad wasn't
sure about his revelation from where he was getting this. Only Khadijah
and Waraqa were giving him clues that it may be this and it may be that.
Further we read that Muhammad became so disturbed that he tried to kill
himself. But every time when Muhammad tried to kill himself the angel
who was identified as Gabriel appear before him and said, "O Muhammad!
You are indeed Allah's Apostle in truth".

All these Hadith writings suggest that Muhammad was not
getting his revelations from God but from devil. If we read the Bible
we can understand that none of the Bible prophets felt suicidal or were
in deep distress after meeting God ore being in the presence of God. They
enjoyed the presence of God everyday in their lives. David says in Psa
16:11, "You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness
of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore." Moses enjoyed
the presence of God and every time he came out of the presence of God,
his face was shining with the glory of God not with fear or depression.

If Muhammad had seen the God of the Bible or met the real
angel Gabriel, he would have been filled with the peace of God. Bible
tells us about the God of the Bible as "God of peace". God gives
His perfect peace to a person. He does not keep a person in delusion,
confusion or in distress.

The things Muslim should do. We as Muslim should give our first priority in learning quran and do quran reading to seek the right path of Islam and through the quran teaching we can achieve the goal of our life and the deputy to guiding our kids to learn Koran that we should fulfill with perfecting kids quran recitation power and knowledge in Islam and also motivate our children’s to do quran memorization and then guide them to learn holy Quran tafseer  so they could understand the quran in Arabic and the quranic translation and also let or kids to listen quran from top quran reciters to get them inspired. at last I would pray for all my Muslim brothers and sisters that may Allah accept there Dwas and prayers and inspire you with the teachings of our holy prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) so let us join hands and spread the knowledge that every Muslim is born to spread the knowledge of Islam now a day many online quran tutor are available for kids and elders to learn tajweed quran and with exact pronunciation and perfect the quran recitation online with qualified teaching staff  who can guide then with there experience and knowledge and the write teachings to help us in achieving the path of Jannah so learn quran and its teaching and spread the word of Allah

God Never Ordered Abraham to sacrifice his son

God Never Ordered Abraham to sacrifice his son

God is the Most Merciful. He never violates His own law (7:28). Any person who believes that the Most Merciful ordered Abraham to kill his son cannot possibly make it to God's Heaven. Such evil thought about God is grossly blasphemous. Nowhere in the Quran do we see that God ordered Abraham to kill his son. On the contrary, God intervened to save Abraham and Ismail from Satan's plot (37:107), and He told Abraham: "You believed the dream" (37:105). Undoubtedly, it was a dream inspired by Satan. God's irrevocable law is: "God never advocates sin" (7:28)

Editor's note:

Killing an innocent soul is a sin. Abraham's son Ismail was innocent, he committed no evil to be killed. Thus if God had truly commanded Abraham to kill Ismail, it would have meant that God commanded Abraham to commit a sin. Many Muslims will insist that God only did this so as to test Abraham and see wether Abraham loves God more or his own son! However this logic is totally ridiculous. Indeed God tests all of us, but he tests us in upholding His commandments, and not breaking them!

Suppose you have a 12 year old son and you taught him all his life that stealing is wrong and that he should never steal any money and for any purpose. Now suppose that one day you wish to test your son, would you test him by commanding him to go and steal some money for you? Would you command your own son to do what you taught him all his life that is wrong, to see how much he loves you?

The word 'khimar' in the Quran:

The word 'khimar' in the Quran:

"Khimar" is an Arabic word that can be found in the Quran in 24:31 While the first basic rule of Dress Code for the Muslim Women can be found in 7:26, the second rule of the DRESS CODE FOR WOMEN can be found in 24:31. Some Muslims quote verse 31 of sura 24 as containing the Hijab, or head cover, by pointing to the word, khomoorehenna, (from Khimar), forgetting that God already used the word Hijab, several times in the Quran. Those blessed by God can see that the use of the word "Khimar" in this verse is not for "Hijab" or for head cover. Those who quote this verse usually add (Head cover) (veil) after the word Khomoorehenna, and usually between ( ), because it is their addition to the verse not God's. Here is 24:31,

"And tell the believing women to subdue their eyes, and maintain their chastity. They shall not reveal any parts of their bodies, except that which is necessary. They shall cover their chests, (with their Khimar) ............"

Here is Yousuf Ali's translation, but the word KHIMAR was put back in place instead of (veils), so the verse would look as it should have been before adding Ali's own interpretation:

"And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments ....... . . that they should draw their KHIMAR over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands.........."

Y. Ali's translation, with the word khimar put back in place.

"Khimar" is an Arabic word that means, cover, any cover, a curtain is a Khimar, a dress is a Khimar, a table cloth that covers the top of a table is a Khimar, a blanket can be used as a Khimar..etc. The word KHAMRA used for intoxicant in Arabic has the same root with Khimar, because both covers, the Khimar covers (a window, a body, a table . . . etc.) while KHAMRA covers the state of mind. Most of the translators, obviously influenced by Hadith (fabrications) translate the word as VEIL and thus mislead most people to believe that this verse is advocating the covering of the head.

In 24:31 God is asking the women to use their cover (khimar)( being a dress, a coat, a shawl, a shirt, a blouse, a tie, a scarf . . . etc.) to cover their bosoms, not their heads or their hairs. If God so willed to order the women to cover their heads or their hair, God would have simply said (COVER YOUR HAIR). God is neither vague nor forgetful! GOD does not run out of words. God DID NOT order the women to cover their heads or their hair.

God does not wait for a Scholar to put the correct words for Him!

The Arabic word for CHEST, GAYB is in the verse (24:31), but the Arabic words for HEAD, (RAAS) or HAIR, (SHAAR) are NOT in the verse. The commandment in the verse is clear - COVER YOUR CHEST OR BOSOMS, but also the fabrication of the scholars and most of the translators is clear by claiming- cover your head or hair.

The last part of the verse (24:31) translates as:

"They shall not strike their feet when they walk in order to shake and reveal certain details of their bodies."

The details of the body can be revealed or not revealed by the dress you wear, not by your head cover.

Notice also the expression in 24:31,

"They shall not reveal any parts of their bodies, except that which is necessary"

This expression may sound vague to many because they have not understood the Mercy of God. Once again, God here used this very general term to give us the freedom to decide according to our own circumstances the definition of "What is necessary".

It is not up to a scholar or to any particular person to define this term. God wants to leave it personal for every woman and no one can take it away from her. Women who follow the basic rule number one i.e. righteousness, will have no problem making the right decision to reveal only which is necessary.

The word "zeenatahunna" in this verse refers to the woman's body parts (beauty) and not to ornaments and decorations as some people interpret it or translate it. At the end of the verse, God tells the women not to strike with their feet to show their "zeenatahunna". You do not need to strike your feet to show your ornaments but the way you strike your feet while walking can expose or shake certain parts of the body that do not need to be emphasized.

Accepting orders from anybody but God, means idol-worship. That is how serious the matter of Hijab/khimar is. Women who wear Hijab because of tradition or because they like it for personal reasons commit no sin, as long as they know that it is not part of this perfect religion. Those who are wearing it because they think God ordered it are committing Idol-worship, as God did not order it, the scholars did. These women have found for themselves another god than the One who revealed the Quran, complete, perfect and FULLY detailed to tell them they have to cover their heads to be Muslims.

Idol-worship is the only unforgivable sin, if maintained till death, 4:48.

How does the Qur'an compare to the Book of Genesis on the great events of history (Creation, Fall, Flood and confusion of languages)?

CREATION

Key differences between the Bible and the Qur’an
The Bible says:The Qur’an says:
Man was created on Earth, in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:8)Man was created in Paradise (“janna”)1, not on Earth (first couple later banished to Earth, e.g. Qur’an 2:36).
The Bible describes clearly what was made on each day of Creation Week. The “Big Bang” is excluded by this sequence (e.g. Earth before Sun).No clear details of each creation day. Some vague clustering of the days in 41:9-12.2
Creation in 6 days which are clearly Earth-rotation days (c. 24 hours).Creation also in 6 days2 but could easily be interpreted as “millions of years” (see main text).
Man and the animals were created vegetarian (Genesis 1:29-30). No death and suffering in the original creation.Carnivory (and thus death and suffering) apparently integral to life on the created Earth from the first. The Qur’an (6:142, 16:5, 40:79) says that cattle were created for man to eat.
Man was created naked (but not ashamed—Genesis 2:25).

The Qur’an speaks of Adam’s (and his wife’s) nakedness becoming apparent to them after they sinned (20:121; also implied by 7:22), yet also implies that they were wearing some kind of raiment prior to the Fall (Qur’an 7:273).

Read quran and it will guided us to the true teaching of The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) he summarized the religion of Islam with this statement: “The Religion is naseehah (sincerity)!” So then Tameem ibn Aws, may Allah be pleased with him, then said, “We asked, ‘To whom?’” He said: “To Allah, HIS BOOK holy quran, His Messenger, the leaders of the people, and their common folk.” [Muslim] so to study the religion people should go to the source of and source of Islam is the quran so learning quran and reading quran with the meaning the quran tafsir and then explore the words of wisdom. And for the Muslims the sincerity that is due to the Book of Allah includes doing the quran recitation, listening to quran along with learning the tajweed rules and reciting it beautifully, letting our kids learn quran learning holy quran tafseer and the reasons for its revelation, affirming that it is the Truth, the perfect Speech of Allah and not part of the creation, honoring it and defending it, abiding by the orders and prohibitions found in it and teaching quran to spread the word or truth and calling to it. So by learning quran education online and reflecting over the Quran online, one fulfills an obligation and is rewarded for that. Upon fulfilling this obligation, the Quran then becomes a proof for him on the Day of Judgment! And that is our second benefit we will take by embracing this Noble Book...
